360 Sports Academy

We have been very busy in the offices of 360 Sports Academy!  We’re gearing up for a very busy summer of camps and clinics for our student-athletes.

So what have we been up to in the meantime?

• 360 Football Academy will be providing scholarships to 100 Athletes for the Academy in June at Georgia Tech!
  
• Hannibal Navies and the Navies Foundation have teamed up with Children’s Hospital and Research Center in Oakland, CA to host an Ice Cream Social for the public and the children at the Hospital on May 13, 2010. All are welcome to join from 12pm-1pm in Oakland, Calif.
  
• If you enjoyed our first commercial, you’re definitely going to enjoy the next video project we’re working on! 360 will be working with Baltimore Ravens linebacker, Ray Lewis, for a special documentary.  Details are under wraps, but when the project is complete, we’ll be sure to post it here!
  
• Registration for the Atlanta camp (June 7-11) is open! Parents and Coaches, register your child now! Make sure you fill out a scholarship application.
  
• Our new website rolled out in January, but we’re continuously making updates and additions so be sure to check back regularly!
  

Each year, the Hannibal Navies Foundation offers opportunities for student-athletes through programs executed through 360 Sports Academy.  These academies and “Camp in the Bay” encourage over 1,200 student-athletes to persevere through obstacles to reach their dreams.

Studies show that young people who participate in organized sports have greater academic success, more responsible behavior, confidence in their physical abilities, enhanced affinities for health and fitness, and strengthened social bonds with peers, adults and institutions. 

Our goal is to serve as a vehicle for helping youth develop into prepared, caring, responsible adults through our educational seminars and camps.

HNF programs have been sustained by the generosity and support of local and national corporations, private foundations and individuals who believe in our mission and our efforts.

Exciting things are happening with 360! Recently, we teamed up with Hollywood Executive Producer, Marty Bowen, and his team featuring Cameron White and Ryan Hase, for a 360 Football Documentary!

The documentary will feature our scholarship recipients and NFL Draft prospects and the journey they must take to reach their goals.

360 is honored to work with Marty Bowen, who has executive produced an ongoing list of feature films, including: “Dear John,” “The Nativity Story,” and the “New Moon” series! Marty Bowen and his team are also the creative arm behind our very first commercial. Make sure you check out the exclusive behind-the-scenes photos here!

360 Football Academy shot its first company commercial with Rennie Curran this past weekend!

You know Rennie…

…the 5-foot-11, 225-pound linebacker for the University of Georgia! Rennie will be entering the 2010 NFL Draft this April.  Last season he led the SEC with 130 tackles and was named to The Associated Press All-SEC team. He finished his three-year career with 298 tackles.

The commercial is currently in the editing stages, but once it’s finalized, we’ll post here!

360 Football Academy is proud to award scholarships to two student-athletes from Georgia: Terrance Smith (Southwest Dekalb High School) and A.J. Johnson (Gainesville High School) for the 2010-2011 Academy.

360 Football Academy is committed to providing student-athletes of all socioeconomic levels access to our comprehensive programs. With proper guidance and support, we help youth circumvent social, academic and athletic issues that can occur on and off the field of play. Our year round curriculum ensures that those student-athletes who participate in the 360 scholarship program are held to a high standard of personal character and conduct. Through the support of corporations and individuals alike, 360 Football Academy will provide approximately 300 scholarships in 2010.
